Leaning into the Hurt, Disappointment, and Confusion:

Why God? Why me? Why are things not going my way? Why is my hard work not paying off? Why is this business draining me so badly? Why is my business not taking off? Why am I financially depleted? Why is my marriage on the rocks? Why God?

Have you been finding yourself, questioning God about what is going on in your life? Life can have its difficult moments, full of confusion, disappointment, and hurt. Oftentimes, we hear about having patience, working hard, seeing things through, however what happens if you do all of that and life continues to throw you “pretty consistent” curve balls.

Sometimes, there is a message in the confusion. Is what you are doing aligned with God’s purpose for your life? Or, is what you are doing aligned with ‘YOUR’ vision for your life? Sometimes, both are not the same. Perhaps it is time to make a list of things in your life that you can control. And then, move to ask GOD, with these things, guide me in the direction in which I should go. God will guide you and direct you towards your journey and destiny. However, we as man, need to let go of what “We” want.

If that business is not working, and you are left financially depleted (for example), should you continue pouring your blood, sweat, and tears into it? Or, is now that time to tap into what you can control and ask God for guidance and direction according to his will, and the destiny that “HE” has for your life. You may be surprised, afraid, confused, and maybe even a little offended by what God reveals to you. Perhaps, that business is totally for you, but the timing is just off. All in all, what is for you, “IS” for you. If you have to walk away or take a pause to gain some perspective and composure in your life, God will ultimately bring you FULL CIRCLE, back to WHAT IS FOR YOU!
